Castles have been a recurring source of pride for communities, as well as a constant theme of interest for artists and architects, becoming deeply rooted elements in the collective memory of places and fundamental pieces of the imagination of many offices, an unusual relationship that the exhibition organized at the Royal Academy of Arts in London seeks to reflect on.
