Less than ten kilometers from the center of Barcelona, Badalona was one of the region’s main industrial hubs, with an urban fabric in which factory buildings and workers’ housing always coexisted. Since the end of the 20th century, Badalona has been undergoing an intense regeneration process, marked by major urban development projects and social transformations.
