On the ledge of Es Jonquet ravine, bordering the Bay of Palma, stands a chain of old flour mills. At the end of this group, the project converts the old Molí d’en Garleta into a museum that explains both the building’s unique history and the Balearic tradition associated with this type. The first step was to create a new plaza to organize access to the exhibition area and resolve the discrepancies between the tourist axis open to the sea and the secluded fabric of the neighborhood...
