The architectural heritage of the pearling trade is the last testimony of a culture that defined the country’s identity. Amongst the iconic structures along the Pearling Path, a World Heritage Site, is the Siyadi cluster where Tajir Al-Lulu received pearl buyers from as far as India and Europe. The first step of the renovation of the ensemble and the Mosque is the removal of the additions and the recovery of original elements. The missing parts are completed by extending the walls, resting on the existing foundations.
