Hotel General Perón 27 in Madrid, by BIG

The Danish firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), in collaboration with the Madrid-based firm Ortiz.León Arquitectos, is responsible for building a luxury hotel at 27 General Perón Street in Madrid, a project by Ibervalles Socimi. This intervention will transform the area around the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and the AZCA financial district, consolidating the urban renewal of the area.
The plan involves the demolition of an office building, with more than 7,000 square metres distributed over thirteen floors, to make way for a new fifteen-storey hotel above ground and six underground levels, which will have 144 rooms.
The architectural proposal is distinguished by its curved glass façade with a double brass skin, which envelops the building and offers sweeping views of the city. The five-star hotel is scheduled to open in 2028.
